The Chicago Cubs mosaics include a mixed media mosaic featuring ceramic and Byzantine glass for the owner’s office in Chicago, as well as a Clubouse Byzantine Glass Logo for the Cubs Spring Training facility in Mesa AZ., that offers a focal point with brilliant color, upon entering the lobby. Plus an additional conceptual Byzantine 3-D Saguaro cactus -baseball bat sculpture. Several conceptual renderings were provided for the Cubs.

evan mosaics was first commissioned by Mayor Daley and the Chicago Transit Authority to create a large scale mosaic installation for The White Sox Park Redline line entrance in time for the All Star Game in 2003. With completion of the approx. 400 square foot hand cut granite mosaic and warm reception by Chicago White Sox fans and Chicago transit riders, evan mosaics was further commissioned to design and  produce 26 custom waterjet and handcut granite and stainless steel medallions for various stops on the  Douglas Blue Line.

Metro Condos, located in the West Loop, Chicago, were created by evan mosaics using Byzantine Glass tessarae. Several art panels , walls, colums, and flooring were created with Byzantine mosaics and porcelain tile. The owners contracted evan mosaics, as they had visited Paris and were impressed by the mosaics in the Metro subway, and wanted an identity for the new condo building inspired by the trip, and architecture in Paris. The Metro mosaics provide a colorful and dramatic motif and identity for the Metro condos.
